Snorkelling the lagoon

Atouts - Assets

Come and discover the surrounding marine fauna and flora!

Half day trip on weekdays and Saturday (Sunday on request):

Ideal for a quick discovery of the marine reserves near Nouméa. You will enjoy a morning tea in between the two snorkelling explorations.

Saturday mornings the sportiest ones will join the free divers of Club APNEA to go and tickle the big deep or explore a wreck with just their fins and lung capacity. The others won’t be less active while wandering on Tabou reef or on the outer reef slope.

Day trip (on request):

Taking on this excursion you will enjoy both discovering the marine beauties and a reserve islet from the South lagoon. You will snorkel on two different sites and relax in between on Amédée islet or Signal islet.

You will also get a nice cold meal on the paradisiac beach, overlooking the spectacular lagoon.

Caractéristiques - Features

Motor catamaran

type: Evercat Marine Caledonian shipyard prototype.

Length: 34,4ft

width: 17ft

Capacity (without crew): 24 people

Imagined and designed by the marine architect Jacques FIOLLEAU, in collaboration with EVERCAT MARINE and Bernard ANDREANI, this boat is of a novel concept, equipped with hydrofoils and specially adapted for the activity but above all to minimise its ecological footprint. Super light (below 4 tonnes) she needs a little engine (2x150 ph, 4 strokes) despite her great transport capacity (up to 25 divers). Her greenhouse gas emission per diver is minimal.
